HOME owners affected by flooding should be on the lookout for shonky contractors, says Master Builders.

The organisation is advising home owners with flood damage that electrical safety should be their first priority 

when returning home.

However, it says residents should check that trade contractors or builders are licensed in Queensland to perform 

the type of work they are quoting on.
